Antonio Marrero, APRN

Antonio Marrero, NP, is a highly experienced women’s health specialist with over two decades of clinical expertise spanning general gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and lower genital tract and cervical pathology. He provides expert care to patients at First Class OB/GYN in South Florida. 

Antonio began his medical career after graduating from the School of Medicine in Santiago de Cuba in 1993, where he also completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His early training laid a strong foundation in caring for women through every stage of life, including pregnancy and complex gynecologic conditions.

In addition to his clinical background, Antonio has extensive experience in clinical trials, malignant hematology, and cellular therapy, including stem cell transplantation—bringing a research-driven perspective to patient care. After relocating to the United States, he expanded his scope of practice and became a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, Antonio is committed to providing accessible, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care. He is known for his excellent communication skills, collaborative approach, and ability to streamline care for women across the lifespan—from routine gynecologic exams and preventive screenings to managing complex reproductive health concerns.
