We Welcome International Patients

Physicians and patients from around the world regularly consult with Dr. Anghel on some of the toughest OBGYN cases. In addition to offering exceptional expertise, Dr. Anghel’s reputation for treating his patients like family extends to his international patients.

Dr. Anghel and his dedicated staff warmly welcome international patients seeking gynecological and obstetric care and/or surgery at our South Florida office – including mothers who would like to give birth in the United States.

We understand being in a different country and away from the comforts of home, especially for medical care, can be difficult. Dr. Anghel and his team offer an unmatched level of personalized care and service to make our international patients feel as comfortable as possible while in the U.S. Upon returning to your home country, we can collaborate with your physician on a follow-up care plan as needed.

Our staff is available to answer specific questions about international childbirth, length of recommended stay, costs and our services. For your convenience, we can provide excellent references for other medical specialists you may need and refer expecting mothers to some of the area’s best pediatricians.   

Payment/Travel Visas

Our international patients pay our office directly for Dr. Anghel’s services (separate from the hospital fees).

International patients are responsible for obtaining the necessary U.S. travel visas.

We are conveniently located about 30 minutes away from both the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the Miami International Airport. Our office is located in Memorial Hospital Miramar. We are nearby to a variety of hotel, extended stay lodging, restaurant and shopping options to help make your stay in South Florida convenient and pleasant.
